Who I am
The Story
Anchored on Vancouver Island with colleagues and partners across Canada and the World. My team and I are proven adventurers, innovative entrepreneurs and capable administrators with ample skills and resources. I advocate on issues that are meaningful and develop projects that have a strong community impact and help individuals and small clients in difficult situations and to excel.

As an amateur sportsman, avid tourist and accidental politician, he has survived bear, shark and barracuda encounters, deep water dives in 5 seas, major earthquakes, terrorist bombings, political debates, bad food in 43 countries, overturned sailboats in Atlantic storms, and is used to navigating through fields, swamp, jungle and desert. Character
Very patient with a strong sense of determination to help others, a good listener, has a professional sense of urgency, ambitious but not reckless, not afraid to learn from mistakes & highly detail-oriented.
On a personal note, I am diplomatic, and patient in the face of constantly changing priorities. I travel extensively and can be frequently found hiking or paddling. Fortunately, my family and friends keep pulling me to dry earth.
Professionalism and Experience
Earth Scientist & Communications Expert by training, extensive field work in corporate management, OH&S, training in Marketing, e-Commerce, Resource Management, Real Estate, and Critical Situational Troubleshooting.
I have degrees in Biology, Geology, and am accredited in Real Estate Brokerage, GIS, Project Management, Graphic Design, Quantity Surveying, Architectural Specification and currently training in Ground Search and Rescue in British Columbia.
Teaching and Volunteer Work
Teaching and volunteer work at various institutions: ROM, Science North, Canadian Env. Festival, Pollution Probe, Nature Conservancy, South Africa Ministry of Education, often for environmental issues. Currently training in Ground Search and Rescue in British Columbia.
I’ve studied and taught Archaeology, Canoeing, Sailing, Photography, survival skills, web-design, advanced sales, enterprise-scale software deployment, and energy policy.
